Where did I grow up?

…. hmm, well I was raised here in Southern California. I moved to Seattle as a teenager and lived there for 11 years before returning to L.A. last year. I loved Seattle for it’s own unique vibe and artistic community, but I have always been and forever shall be, a valley girl. I am thrilled to once again call Southern California my home.

Why Acting?

Because I’m a storyteller, I tell stories many different ways. But acting allows the most exploration of character. Who is this person? What motivates their actions, reactions, relationships? I loved to watch people as a child, they fascinated me and still do. We are so united and so different at the same time. The performances I love draw you in and help you to see the world from an entirely different perspective yet remind you that we are all connected by our humanity. As an actor, I love making those kinds of connections, for myself and others.

What do I do besides act?

Well, I am an adrenaline junkie. I love theme parks, and I LOVE roller coasters. The faster, higher, more thrilling, the better. I love to swim, and jump rope and I want to learn to play tennis this year.

I have been a web designer for 10 years now, and I still enjoy the challenge of creating websites. In addition, I have knowledge in post production video editing, writing, directing and stage managing. I am also a social media junkie. I was on Facebook the day they opened it to the general public, I have been blogging somewhere on the web since I was a teenager and I tweet daily. I am a creative artist, so while Acting is my first love and my career pursuit, I will always look for new and exciting ways to create.

I am somewhat of a history buff. Titanic and WW2 are my favorite historical subjects to study.

I am really big on giving back to the community. I believe that no matter what you do for a living, no matter how much you make or where you live you can do something in your local community. There are plenty of ways to serve others and volunteer. So I do as much volunteer work as I can.

I have my nose to the grindstone and eyes to the stars.

I take things real seriously, right up until I start laughing.

Maybe not the girl you date, but for sure the girl you marry.
